Have you ever heard of Broomball?
Broomball is an awesome alternative to hockey during our long winter months.
Broomball is a team sport, originating in Canada, that resembles ice hockey but without the skates. Players wear special shoes to run on the ice, using a broomball stick to hit the ball into the opponent's net. The game emphasizes teamwork, positioning, and control, and requires protective gear like helmets, gloves and pads to prevent injuries.
St.Claude has a well established broomball program with players starting as young as 8 years old. It is an awesome alternative to hockey, with minimal equipment investment and very affordable fees. We operate on a drop-in system, so you don't have to worry about making a huge commitment. Stop in and try it out to see if its for you!

Grassroots Program
St.Claude is a mecca for broomball in Manitoba, with programs in place for kids as young as 8 years old.
Broomball is unique in the sense that you can choose to play recreationally with minimal committment at our weekly drop-in nights, or you can play at some of the highest level competition in the world. It all starts right here.
Some of our best local players have gone on to play with Team Manitoba, and even Team Canada, at tournaments all over Canada and the United States, and a select few have even travelled across the world to play broomball in places like Japan.
